This exhibition project has been assisted by Sylvie Arlaud and Gracjana
Reimer-Cánovas and based on a long-desired wish by the artist Ernesto Cánovas
from the Slade School of Fine Art, London to have an exhibition with his wonderful
and fabulous mentor and teacher Estelle Thompson teaching on the Slade School of
Fine Art in London
, at one of the exceptional and successfull art colleges in the world.



UCL Slade School of Fine Art (informally The Slade) is the art school of
University College London
(UCL) and is based in London, United Kingdom.
It is world-renowned and is consistently ranked as the UK's top art and
design
educational institution.

Well-known students and professors /alumni/ gratuates for example:
Cecily Brown, Martin Creed, Tacita Dean, Douglas Gordon, Eileen Gray,
Richard Hamilton, Mona Hatoum, John Stezaker and turner price winner
Rachel Whiteread and Antony Gormley, for name some important ones.



Estelle Thompson is a teaching professor at Slade School and based in London
and Trinidad, represented by the Flowers Gallery in London. Thank you Estelle
for making it real and for such wonderful paintings in the show.
